City Memorial Bowls Club staff are celebrating the opening of its kitchen after it was severely damaged by fire last month.
Office manager Loretta Wilmink said they were excited to reopen the bistro on Friday night.
“It’s been a long arduous process and we’re finally up and running,” Ms Wilmink said.
City Bistro operators Mick and Tanya McGowan were looking forward to re-opening.
“It’s been tough, both financially and emotionally,” she said. “The community has been behind us. We’ve had a heap of inquiries. We’ve had so much support. It’s great to be able to repay them and say we’re back.”
