Area chief ranger Michael Smith said the reserve had been closed for three days.
“Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve and Worn Gundidj Visitor Centre have been closed due to essential roadworks from Wednesday, April 26 to Friday, April 28,” he said.
“Parks Victoria is undertaking road repair works which include the resurfacing of access roads into the reserve, including the road from the Princess Highway entrance to the picnic ground and part of the exit road. “These works will improve visitor safety and visitor experience.
“Visitors to the Koroit Irish Festival and to the region will be able to visit Tower Hill as usual from Saturday, April 29, when all works will be complete.”
