Warrnambool recruit Will Paulin has been named to return from injury, while Hayden Scoble and Dylan Lees will also bolster the Blues’ stocks.
It marks a reverse in fortune for the Blues, who have been on the end of several injuries to key personnel in the opening rounds of 2017.
Nirranda coach Shane Threlfall backed all three players to make a strong impact on return.
“Paulin is a player that has been very strong for us inside and outside the packs,” Threlfall said.

“They’ve all been through the training with the team and they’ll be ready to roll for South Rovers. They’ve done everything that is asked of them.”
South Rovers, meanwhile, will be without classy forward pair Jack Hancocks and Ayden Bosse. Lions coach Adam Matheson has brought in Thomas Hopkins and Josh Moloney as replacements.
