Bloods coach Michael Sargeant said his charges would strive to play footy the way it wants, rather than kowtowing to the in-form Roosters on Saturday.
“We’ve probably just got to bet it back like the first week (when) we had it on our terms,” he said. “Then last week, for some reason, we just let Camperdown dictate to us a little bit. That’s probably our biggest focus: try to get it back on our terms.
“We’ve just got to put pressure on them (the Roosters) and get back to what we spoke about. We have to limit the distance between our good and bad quarters.”
The Bloods will be without Chris Baxter (calf), Jake Tanner (unavailable) and Mitchell Carlin (omitted) for the clash, but welcome impressive youngster Harry Hobbs for his first game in the red and blue and bring back Matt Baxter and Gus Bourke.
