Warrnambool police Sergeant Mark Barby said a driver was heading south on Booval Drive, which runs into Wares Road.
That driver failed to give way at the intersection with Whites Road and caused a collision with a vehicle heading east along Whites Road.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged although Sergeant Barby said neither driver was injured.
The vehicles had to be towed from the accident scene.
The driver who caused the accident is expected to be issued with an infringement notice for failing to give way.
