Ruckman Jack Hickey (ankle) and youngster Sean Barnes (concussion) were taken from the ground within minutes of each other in the third term against Portland at Melville Oval on Tuesday.
Kangaroos coach Matt Dunn said both players were doubtful for Saturday's match against Cobden.
Dunn rued his charges' decision to overuse possess in the wet conditions.
He labelled the Roos' second-quarter play "dumb footy" which played into the Tigers' hands.
"It was a terrific start but then we only kicked one goal after quarter-time," he said.
"We didn't create enough opportunities. Their half-back line worked really well and picked us off on all those forward entries in the second quarter and that's probably where they got the momentum."
Dunn said former Fremantle key forward Adam Campbell made a positive impact in his first game for the club.
"I was happy with what he was able to deliver. It was his first game of footy in 18 months," he said.
"He certainly competed well for us and gave us a good target.
"He probably took eight or 10 marks which is probably not a bad effort for a key forward in those conditions."
Dunn, who was pleased with Tom Feely's four-quarter effort, said Campbell would play in the ruck as the season progresses.
