Gold Medals with Linda Meech in the saddle defeated Puccini and No Fairy to win the $50,000 race.
The seven-year-old, who was runner-up to Master Zephyr in last year's cup and ran fifth behind Tall Ship in 2015 was perfectly ridden by Meech.
Wilde said he faced a pleasant headache where to run Gold Medals next.
“I'm not sure where Gold Medals will have his next start,” Wilde said.
“Gold Medals has been a great horse for his connections. He won his first race as a two-year-old and is still winning as a seven-year-old. He’s just kept on winning races during his career.
“There's not too many horses do what he's done. He's versatile winning over hurdles and in flat races.
“I'll nominate him for the Warrnambool Cup, the Brierly Steeplechase and the Galleywood Hurdle at the Warrnambool Carnival but I'm not sure which race he will run in.
“It was a top ride by Linda. She's an underrated jockey.”
Gold Medals took his stake earnings to more than $350,000 with his Terang Cup victory.
Warrnambool trained Big Duke could only manage third place in the $2 million Sydney Cup at Randwick on Saturday.
Big Duke, who is trained at Darren Weir's satellite stable drifted in the betting to $3.70 favourite.
He was beaten less than a length by Polarisation and Who Shot Thebarman in Sydney’s feature staying race over 3200 metres.
