Co-ordinator Hannah Chisholm said as people’s lives became busier, there was a renewed interest in keeping chooks and growing produce.
A Backyard Chooks workshop will be held on Tuesday from 10am-12pm, providing tips and information about getting started and seasonal advice and how to care for the birds for existing owners.
