Environment and education experts will guide the Little Wild Kids River Walk at Peterborough. Its aim is to introduce and inform pre-school children and their families about their local estuary and coastline.
Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) EstuaryWatch co-ordinator Kate Wynn said it would be a fun day.
She said families could engage in the environment and would be educated about how to “make the most of their ‘wild time’ when they returned in the future.
It will also help to link young families to local environmental groups such as EstuaryWatch. To register call 5232 9100.
