The South West Sport-run program, which caters for people aged 14 and older, is run at Warrnambool Stadium each week and includes day-trip tournaments. Up to 20 players attend the weekly skill sessions and matches.
South West Sport access all-abilities program manager Judi Mutsaers said outgoing coach Kathy Hunt had moved to Ballarat.
“We are looking for someone interested in taking weekly training sessions at the stadium,” she said.
“They’d need a little bit of netball experience and be comfortable working with someone with a disability but we can also support someone who doesn’t have experience in that area.”
Mutsaers said the Stingers travelled to up to four tournaments throughout the year. Coaching accreditation is not essential but South West Sport would support interested applicants striving to obtain a level one badge.
Mutsaers is available for further information on 5561 1689.
