THE cast of this year’s Warrnambool Theatre Company’s Calendar Girls have started a fundraiser by baring all.

Like their characters in the 2003 film of the same name, the group raised money for their local hospital.

Organisers of the cheeky production performed at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre in March were delighted to handover $1000 to South West Healthcare.

“We are thrilled with the 2017 production of Calendar Girls,” Producer Ailich Goddard-Glegg said. “It was both a financial and creative success for our group.”

South West Healthcare’s Suzan Morey said the donation would kick start the fundraising for a patient lifting machine for the Chemotherapy Unit in the South West Regional Cancer Centre.
