Mr Kerr, who started as ADFC’s chief executive in 2014, said his decision to leave ADFC was amicable and ADFC was enjoying great relationships with the companies it supplied.
ADFC supplies milk to Colac dairy processor Bulla and Melbourne dairy processor Procal.
It sources its milk from about 50 dairy farmers in western Victoria and about 26 dairy farmers in northern Victoria.
ADFC has been exploring ideas in recent years to invest in a new dairy processing plant in western Victoria. However Mr Kerr said he expected that would be a long term rather than a short term goal for ADFC.
