Hu Ming and Shen Xue will visit the Deakin University Warrnambool Campus and health services across the district.
The visit could lead to chronic condition management programs used in south-west Victoria being adapted to help millions of people in China.
Interim director of Deakin Rural Health, Dr Vincent Versace, said this could be the first of many potential exchanges between the health centres.
“We hope into the future to embark on different types of exchange programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students,” he said.
