Gerald Ridsdale - already convicted of abusing 53 children - appeared via video link at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to a number of child abuse charges.
Geoffrey Robert Dobbs, a former Queensland Boys Brigade leader and Sunday school teacher, molested 62 young girls over three decades and was often dubbed Australia’s worst pedophile.
By victim numbers alone, Ridsdale now ranks amongst the worst.
"I plead guilty to all charges as presented," Ridsdale told the court Thursday.
The 82-year-old will face a two-day plea hearing starting August 15, before being sentenced.
The latest charges relate to 10 boys and one girl in Ballarat and the surrounding area from 1961 to the 1980s.
Ridsdale spent three months in prison after his first convictions in 1993 and has been in jail since 1994, serving an effective total sentence of 28 years.
