The Rebels will host Bendigo Pioneers at Ballarat’s Alfredton Oval as part of a triple-header with their under 16 and youth girls outfits.
The 10 Hampden league prospects who played in their season-opener – an 82-point loss to Geelong Falcons – retained their spots.
Terang Mortlake pair Lachlan Wareham (two goals) and Scott Carlin (22 disposals), who were making their statewide under 18 competition debuts, were the pick of the Hampden exports.
South Warrnambool’s Caitlyn Smith will maker her debut for the newly-developed Rebels’ girls squad, which also plays the Pioneers.
Meanwhile, South Warrnambool teenager Jamarra Ugle-Hagan will play at the AFL kickstart championships next month.
He is also preparing to represent Vic Country in basketball.
