JOURNEYMAN bowler Daniel Oakley has followed former East Warrnambool mentor Mark Murphy to Warrnambool and District Cricket Association outfit Brierly-Christ Church.

He has joined as an assistant coach and will work in tandem with Murphy, guiding the club’s promising youth players. Oakley, a former Yambuk captain, snared 29 wickets for East Warrnambool in 2016-17. Mark Murphy replaced his brother, Nathan, in the Bulls’ top job this week.
