Andrew Young, 27, of Donovans Road, pleaded guilty in the Koori division of the Warrnambool Magistrates Court to a number of police briefs of evidence in relation to driving, drugs, weapons, burglary and theft charges.
The driving matters included five counts of driving while disqualified.
The offending also breached three existing community corrections orders imposed for serious offending.
Magistrate Cynthia Toose decided to adjourn sentencing until June 16 to see if Young could comply with his CCOs which run through until the end of this year.
She said there would be very few sentencing options if he did not comply with the orders.
An option of living in a Melbourne rehabilitation centre was axed after Young said he had not used ice for sometime and he would therefore not be a priority case.
Ms Toose told Young he needed to have a "fair dinkum" go at his corrections orders.
"If you're clean you're well underway, it's a good head start. You could be telling me a porky (pie, lie) but I can't test you today," she explained, while telling Young to try and focus on what she was saying.
"If you do have a go you're sentencing outcome will be far different.”
In October last year Young's home, that he shared with his then partner and four young children, burnt down.
He has since binged on ice.
His partner gave him an ultimatum to either give up ice or he would not be welcome in the new family home.
He has been living with his mother after being arrested in February and is subject to a curfew as part of strict bail conditions.
