A mother and her six-year-old daughter were alarmed to see a man indecently exposing himself on a street in Footscray earlier this month.

The incident is alleged to have happened on Moore Street at about 3pm on Saturday March 11, when the man first exposed himself to the girl. She alerted her mother, who also saw him in the act.
The man then exposed himself twice more to the mother, before fleeing the scene.
The mother managed to take a photo of the man on her phone as he fled and called police.
Police have released the image, along with CCTV footage - taken from a bus prior to the incident - of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.
