It’s understood the vehicle was travelling south along Casterton-Apsley Road when it hit a tree.
A passing motorist found the crash site at 8am on Friday.
The driver, believed to be a man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle and he died at the scene.

The accident takes this year’s road toll to 52, compared to 77 at the same time last year.
Friday, 8.45am: The driver of a red utility has died in an accident near Warrock, north of Casterton.
Ambulance officers are currently at the accident scene.
Police are treating the accident as a fatal single-vehicle collision.
Friday, 8am: THERE is a serious single-vehicle accident north of Casterton.
Police received a report just before 8am relating to a vehicle crashing into a tree at Warrock.
A witness has reported the car was resting on its roof.
The condition of the driver is yet to be confirmed, but understood to be extremely serious.
Emergency services are on the way to the accident scene.
