HAMPDEN Football Netball League will play its 2017 interleague clash against the South East league in Melbourne’s sporting precinct.

The May 13 AFL Victoria Community Championships Clash will be played at the Holden Centre, home of AFL Club Collingwood.

HFNL president Peter Watson said having the Jonathon Brown-coached team play in the city’s sporting heart was a boon for the league.

“It’s a great opportunity for our players to showcase their talent in Melbourne in front of a huge crowd,” he said.

He lauded the opportunity the Hampden representatives would have to play and train at premier sporting facilities.
