A woman has returned from a three-week holiday to find her Warrnambool home was broken into and robbed.

First Constable Aaron Toulmin, of Warrnambool police, said the woman arrived home on Thursday to find someone had gained entry to the property and had stolen a number items.
He said someone had gained access to the house through the kitchen window and had been through all the rooms in the house.
Items stolen included a dryer, outdoor furniture, Xbox and TV.
First Constable Toulmin said the police were still investigating and asked that if anyone saw anything in the Ellerslie Grove area to contact police.
