Detective Constable Stuart Revell, of the Warrnambool-based divisional response unit, said officers executed a search warrant at a Framlingham address on Tuesday.
A 32-year-old Framlingham man and a Grovedale man, 43, were arrested, interviewed, charged and remanded in custody overnight by a bail justice.
Police allege they were involved in a home invasion at a Terang district property and have been charged with armed robbery and the new offence of home invasion.
The men will appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court for a bail/remand hearing on Wednesday.
