The Power still made finals despite a big turnover of players and late coaching appointment last year, but this year have named a largely unchanged senior group.
The notable change will be at the attacking end of the court, where they have lost Ellen Hopkins to South Rovers, while Linda Clifford will sit out with an injury.
But the Power have brought Jocelyn McDonald across from Hampden club Camperdown to anchor their attack, and have options at their disposal to assist her.
“It could be a number of people (who play in goals),” Kolora-Noorat coach Faye Clarke said. “We’ve got two or three other players in the side that will go into the goal circle, depending on our opponent.”
Given the Power have been able to retain the majority of their playing group, they will go into the season with a stronger understanding of how the combinations will work.
“We’ve got a bit more confidence going in knowing finals are definitely a possibility,” Clarke said.

Prediction
Susie Giese says: What a difference 12 months makes. This time last year, Kolora-Noorat was wondering how an almost entirely new-look team would gel on the court, now the Power are looking to build on a finals appearance with a largely unchanged list. They will again look for a finals appearance and are well in the mix to challenge for a top-three spot.
