Crabs skipper Brayden Buchanan said it was difficult to pick his 11 to face Grassmere in their semi-final at Purnim this weekend.
“Daniel Jones didn’t make the side and he’s won five of our past six cricketer of the year awards,” he said.
Buchanan said Killarney was confident going into the cut-throat two-day clash against the finals-hardened Meerkats.
But he emphasised the need for strong contributions with the bat across the board.
“If we square up our middle order, it will go a long way not just to winning this week but winning next week as well,” Buchanan said.
