Olympic Games champion Sally Pearson will continue her comeback from injury in a showdown with Michelle Jenneke in the 100 metre hurdles.
Australia's fastest woman, Melissa Breen, will take on rising star Ella Nelson in the 100 metre and 200 metre sprints while young gun Jack Hale takes on Josh Clarke in the 100 metre men's event.
The Australian athletics championships will be held in Sydney at the end of March and Nelson is returning after a training stint in Arizona.
Rio Olympic 400 metre semi-finalist Morgan Mitchell will also compete against Breen and Nelson in the 200 metre race.
The entry lists also includes Paralympic medallists Scott Reardon (ACT), Isis Holt (Vic) and Ella Pardy (WA).
Most athletes will use the opportunity to chase a qualifying mark for the world championships to be held in London later this year.
It will be the last competitive hit-out for most of the athletes before the Australian championships on March 30.
