Police suspect the luxury car is the same one stolen by two chainsaw-wielding carjackers on Tuesday.
Images from the scene show the BMW slammed through a wall at the Club Laverton hotel, near the Princes Freeway in Laverton.
Police say the car lost control as it exited the freeway into Aviation Road at 3am. It was not involved in a police chase at the time.

Club Laverton sits right on the corner of the two roads.
Luckily there were no injuries, police say.
After the car crashed, two men tried to flee on foot.
Police were quickly on the scene and arrested one man, a 20-year-old from Altona North, but the other got away.
On Tuesday afternoon in Reservoir a BMW X5 was stolen by two thieves armed with a chainsaw and a firearm.
The thieves used a smaller car to box in the X5 in, before threatening the occupants with the chainsaw.
