The Terang Music Festival on March 17-19 is recruiting for its cowboy, cowgirl competition. Festival committee member Ray Worland said the competition was open to children 12 and under and was becoming an important part of the event.
“The competition has been going three years and it keeps getting more popular,” Mr Worland said.
“Last year we had 12 contestants and we are hoping to increase that. We see the cowboy, cowgirl competition as a good way to get the young people to come along with their families.”
The competition winners will be announced on the Saturday of the festival.
