Activities on the day, the 24th year the event has run, included live music performances, a circus, mini golf, wood chopping and a truck and ute show.
Mount Gambier man Ashleigh Staude said he brought his family across to the festival for the day partly because there were plenty of activities to entertain his son Levi, 5, and step-daughter Amber, 14.
Portland resident Janelle Dodson said she decided to spend the day at the festival with her daughter and some friends.
Havanah Farley-Harley, 7, said she loved joining in and hula-hooping at the circus.
