The Bulls are locked in sixth place and are no longer able to challenge for a finals place after a loss to Killarney last weekend.
Smith, who first suited up for Purnim in 2015-16, said he would remain in England for winter next season.
He said the side was determined to prove its worth with a victory against Wangoom.
“Just like every club, a lack of availability has hit us hard this season,” Smith said.
“It’s been tough but that is no excuse. I think the league has to look at a way to make it easier for people to play. It’s been pretty hard work.
“It would be nice to finish with a win because I won’t be coming back next season. It’ll be my last game.”
Smith has clocked 367 runs to cement his class as a mainstay in Purnim’s line-up this season. He has averaged 33.4 runs an innings.
