Warrnambool export Nathan Sobey misses out on NBL grand final series berth with Adelaide 36ers

ADELAIDE 36ers’ grand final dream is over despite a Nathan Sobey-inspired final-quarter fightback. Illawarra shocked the minor premier 106-98 on its home court to take the deciding game of their semi-final series on Thursday night. Warrnambool’s Sobey finished with 22 points, including 13 in the fourth term as the 36ers came from 21 down to get within six.
