A 44-YEAR-OLD Hamilton man has been arrested and charged with committing an aggravated burglary on Saturday evening.

Detective Sergeant Mark James, of the Hamilton police crime investigation unit, said officers arrested the man at 11.30am Monday.
He was interviewed, charged and remanded in custody to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft, obtaining property by deception, dealing with proceeds of crime and possessing cannabis.
Police investigations are continuing to identify a co-offender.
On Monday Hamilton police said thieves entered a Milton Street home in Hamilton about 8.30pm on Saturday while residents were in bed.
They stole two wallets and a mobile phone and used stolen bank cards, which prompted police to review security camera footage.
