Terravista beat Bowman's mount, Spieth, by a nose by at Flemington on Saturday  in a blanket finish to the group 1 Black Caviar Lightning.

The jockey then flew to Hong Kong, where he rode Dinozzo for  Australian John Moore in Sha Tin's Hong Kong Classic Cup, a lead-up to the Hong Kong Derby. He was out of luck in that race, too, finishing well behind odds-on winner Rapper Dragon in the 13-horse field before landing in hot water with stewards.

Bowman was suspended for  careless riding and will  miss some crucial meetings over the next few weeks but – much to the relief of his connections – not the ride on Winx in Saturday's Chipping Norton Stakes at Randwick. He will miss the Randwick Guineas/Canterbury Stakes meeting the following weekend.

Not surprisingly, Winx has opened  at the prohibitively short odds of $1.10 with the TAB as she seeks to continue her 14-race  winning streak at Randwick.

Hartnell, who seems destined to forever trail in her wake (he ran a slashing second on his reappearance behind Winx in the Apollo Stakes last Monday) is the second elect at $8 and everything else in the market is priced at $15 and above.

Such domination has not been seen since the days of Black Caviar, although Winx still has some way to go to match the 25 straight wins of Peter Moody's legendary mare.
