Over the years we have cemented ourselves firmly in the calendar of rural trade exhibitions. We should all reflect on the amazing area that we live in for producing milk, beef and sheep for both the local and export markets, and bringing billions of dollars to the Australian economy.
The dairy industry is our biggest industry in the region, and our service industries are always there to support agriculture.
The Field Days are a great chance for urban residents to meet their rural neighbours and to understand just how important agriculture is to cities and towns.
There will be an abundance of new technology released at the Field Days that will be of great benefit to farmers and of interest to everyone.
A lucky entrance prize, the popular Coffey Hunt Train, and the quirky Vintage Machinery Parade held daily at 10.30 will again add some excitement to the event.
A huge ‘thank you’ to our sponsors, and to our co-ordinator Emma Kavanagh, and our site planner Lou Hollis. May the sun shine brightly, and the rain come at night, for the 2017 Sungold Field Days.
