Organisers of the weekly event, at Lake Pertobe, say attendances far exceeded the previous efforts.
Kerry Lee and Di Brown said they would need to look at capping the number of stallholders come next summer.
“We’ll have to start knocking back stallholders next year. We’ve reached our maximum of 135,” Mrs Lee said.
“Crowd numbers were also up around 5000 regardless of weather.
“We’re heading towards becoming another May races or speedway event in popularity.”
The summer night market, at the northern end of Lake Pertobe, is on Friday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.
