Oxfam’s Warrnambool group will celebrate its 50th anniversary walk on Sunday, February 5 with a one hour stroll around Lake Pertobe.

Warrnambool group president Fay Armstrong said the walk would leave from the Warrnambool Civic Green at 1.30pm and return there for afternoon tea.
People are invited to gather sponsorship and take part in the walk or sponsor someone else who is taking part.
Mrs Armstrong said a display of the projects the group had supported during its 50 years would be set up on the Civic Green. Those projects have included improving water supplies in East Timorese villages and disaster relief in Papua New Guinea.
Mrs Armstrong said Oxfam had always been accountable for how its funds were spent.
