Kellie Mueller, 31, of King Street, successfully applied for bail in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday after being arrested on Sunday.
She will be back in court again on February 20.
Her bailed conditions include she not contact witnesses and not drive and magistrate Cynthia Toose warned Ms Mueller if she breached bail she would be remanded in custody.
Solicitor Meg Tait said Ms Mueller's mother had previously been a great support, but their relationship was now strained after her mother formed a relationship with her client's former partner.
She said her client had responded poorly to the situation and after being arrested on Sunday her three children had been in the care of a neighbour.
Ms Mueller has been charged with 37 offences, mostly relating to driving and dishonesty.
The magistrate said that Ms Mueller already had prior court appearances for driving while disqualified and she was facing another four of those charges - which was expected to lead to a significant term of imprisonment.
Other charges relate to breaching intervention orders, making threats to kill, using stolen number plates, petrol drive-offs, driving an unregistered gold Mazda and breaching bail.
Ms Toose described Ms Mueller as a one-woman crime wave.
Earlier: A TERANG woman was arrested on Sunday and charged with dishonesty offences.
The 31-year-old woman has been remanded in custody to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
She has been charged with theft of number plates, interfering with a vehicle and dishonestly retaining stolen goods.
Those charge breach bail the woman was already on for other dishonesty-related charges include petrol drive-offs in Melbourne.
