The Buks posted a total of 143 in the first week of play and will resume their defence with the Crabs set on 0-7 off five overs.
Wilson said early wickets would be crucial if the Buks were to snare a result.
“I think we need to take wickets to put the pressure back on them. Hopefully Tyson (Umbers) can get a couple because Jack (Ansell) will be away,” he said.
“That will hopefully restrict them. Two or three early ones will be very handy.”
Wilson admitted he was pleased with his club’s season to date. “If you’d told me we’d be here at the start of the year, I would have been pretty happy,” he said. “If we’d made 180 last week it would be have been very nice.”
A win could mean Yambuk moves into second in the Grassmere Cricket Association.
