The 27-year-old started out of pole in the A-main at Wednesday night’s President’s Cup at Avalon Raceway, but finished runner-up to Carson Macedo.
Earlier in the night, McFadden had finished fourth in one heat, after starting out of 10th, and won his second after starting out of pole, securing prime position for himself in the A-main.
Darren Mollenoyux finished fourth in the feature, while Jamie Veal finished sixth.
