The Spanish-born director will screen Loaded Guns & Virtual Dogs at the Killara Centre in Camperdown from 7.30pm.
Filmed in Colac and surrounds, it is the story of two out-of-control lovers and their intriguing relationship.
It is the third film Bayonas has shot in the region and largely stars local performers, except for regular collaborator John Waters, who has a small cameo as The Talker.
Bayonas began his career as a screenwriter in Spain, with his credits including the crime caper Madigan’s Millions, which starred Dustin Hoffman in his first film lead role. He then wrote for such shows as The Flying Doctors, Homicide and A Country Practice.
