Two men and a young boy were pulled from the water in Western Port Bay after their boat capsized and partially sank while fishing at night.

The trio were rescued after their boat struck a sand bank about 11.15pm on Monday night as they returned to Stony Point from a fishing trip.
A 43-year-old Boronia man, a 28-year-old Pakenham man and the boy, also from Boronia, spent an hour in the water after the skipper made a distress call, released flares and activated a radio beacon.
Victoria Police airwing helped find the group about three nautical miles (5.5km) from shore.
Volunteer Marine Rescue rescued the fishermen and took them back to dry land.

The 43-year-old was taken to hospital as a precaution. The other two were treated at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
