The Allansford venue plays host to Australia’s richest and most prestigious speedway event each and every January when the club stages its three night Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Event.
This is an event that on its own draws drivers and race teams from every state and territory in the country as well as a myriad of international drivers including some of the world’s best from the United States.
Once again in 2017 the Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic will be held on the weekend of January 20, 21 and 22.
Already the Premier Speedway Club has received a number of entries including some international interest that will again see the highly professional American drivers converge on Warrnambool to try and claim the jewel of the Australian speedway scene, a jewel that is currently held by Warrnambool based driver Jamie Veal.
