Organiser and Port Fairy Presbyterian Church minister Ian Leach said the traditional evening would include music by Warrnambool Holiday Actors performers, school children, Peter and Elizabeth Lim and Hayden Gillie and families.
The combined churches twilight event attracts about 400 people.
“It’s a really good night and the kids have a lot of fun,” Reverend Leach said.
“People have been really supportive of it.”
Up to 60 children from Port Fairy Consolidated and St Patrick’s Primary School choirs will combine, under the leadership of Antonia Balmer and Lynda Beekhof, to sing four carols.

St Patrick’s choir members sang in the streets on Friday to spread Christmas cheer and in preparation for Sunday’s event.
Reverend Leach said there would be some religious content including a bible reading and a short Christmas message.
He encouraged community members to come along to the event. It begins at 6pm with a free barbecue provided by the churches, and carols from 6.30pm. If weather is inclement it will be held at St Patrick’s Primary School hall.
