That’s the assessment from Cats all-rounder Brad Smith as they approach the final two-day round against Purnim before the Christmas break.
The Cats sit fourth on the eight-team ladder.
“We’re feeling confident and we’re happy we’re starting to get a team together,” he said.
“Tim Huglin is almost leading the league in runs and he’s batting well at the top with Jason Elliott.”
Smith said the club would run its $1000 draw on Saturday night after a tough period.
The Cats tried to get two sides together this season but were forced to pull their B grade outfit due to a lack of numbers.
“It was pretty bad a few weeks ago,” Smith said.
“Now we’re out there (in A grade), enjoying ourselves and playing cricket.”
