Investors in the failed Banksia finance company have expressed concern at the delay in receiving the proceeds of a “mini-settlement” from Banksia directors and auditors in August.

Don McKenzie from the Kyabram Banksia Support Group said investors should have already received a two cents in the dollar payment. The investors, many of whom are from the south-west, are hoping to receive a higher payment after a class action against Banksia’s trustee goes to court in May.
