The bankrupt company was placed into voluntary administration last month after it was revealed that up to 100 creditors were owed millions combined.
United Dairyfarmers of Victoria praised the federal government for extending its Dairy Assistance Package to include NDP suppliers in addition to those from Murray Goulburn and Fonterra.
UDV president Adam Jenkins said it had “worked hard” to secure the outcome for dairy farmers.
“We’re pleased to see the Government acknowledge the stress the milk crisis has put on farmers by extending the assistance package,” he said.
“We want to support farmers affected by the milk crisis and the federal package goes a long way to helping.”
Up to $60 million has been approved for more than 100 farms across Australia to date.
