Dad Glenn and his three sons Riley, 15, Zac, 14, and Alex, 12, started playing cricket together for the Bulldogs last year, and it has quickly become a weekly ritual on Sundays over summer.
Glenn said it was a great thrill to take the field alongside his boys.
“That’s the reason I play, to get out with my sons,” he said. “It just keeps you active. I used to play for Panmure 25 years ago. I sort of gave up and wasn’t interested.
“But when my oldest son started a couple of years ago (I took an interest again).
“Last year, I was supposed to fill in for one game, and now I’m still playing.”
There is a good spread of talent among the boys, with Zac and Alex all-rounders, while Riley is a bowler.
The Chisletts have also been joined by another father-son combination in the Bulldogs’ line-up a few times this season, with Gerry and Liam Harrison also taking the field together.
