History: The Belgians Have Not Forgotten exhibition will be officially launched at 5.30pm on Friday at the Civic Green. The city is one of just four locations in Australia to host the travelling exhibition organised by the Belgian government. The exhibition will run for two weeks at the Lighthouse Theatre Studio.

Dance: Melissa Dance’s Elements Studio will present By the Sea showcasing the talents of local dancers at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre on Friday and Saturday at 7pm and 2pm respectively.
SATURDAY
Markets: TM Warrnambool is on Saturday at the racecourse from 10am until 3pm. Fashions, design, coffee, craft and food will be on sale with proceeds going to Ivy’s Army.
Bikes: The annual Warrnambool Motorcycle Toy Run is on Saturday. Riders will meet at Rafferty’s Tavern in West Warrnambool at 12.30pm and ride through Port Fairy and Koroit before finishing with a barbecue, band and vehicle display at Lake Pertobe. All proceeds from the event will go to the Salvation Army.
Dance: The Warrnambool & District Dance Club are holding their annual Christmas Dance on Saturday from 8pm until midnight at Temperance Hall. Live music by Tarragal Band and people invited to bring supper and dress in Christmas attire.
Farewell: Warrnambool musician and popular teacher Jonathon Cox will be performing his final public concert in the south-west on Saturday at the Brauer Anderson Theatre from 2pm. Tickets available at the door.
Gardening: Rosebrook’s Nature’s Way Eco Sanctuary are hosting a Get Down and Dirty workshop on Saturday between 2.30pm and 4.30pm at their McSweens Road address. Attendees will learn how to construct a vegetable garden from the ground up.
SUNDAY
Youth: Talented music students will perform at Hamilton Performing Arts Centre in Showcase 2016 – Tara’s Music School event on Sunday from 1.30pm. Tickets available at the door.
Art: An exhibition entitled Sea, Sky and in Between will herald the re-opening of Scope Gallery on the weekend. The exhibition, which also marks the gallery’s seventh year, will run through to the end of January.
