On Sunday between 1pm-5pm, Mrs Holmes will open her home at 1 Connolly Street, Port Fairy to the public to show off her mini Christmas village.
Entry is by gold coin donation.
Money raised will go to the palliative care unit at Warrnambool Base Hospital.
Ms Holmes explained that the reasons for fund-raising for the Warrnambool palliative care unit were close to home.
“Rob Baker from Port Fairy recently passed away, he was a member of the Rotary club and a folk festival volunteer,” Mrs Holmes said.
“When he was sick he was looked after very well by the team at the palliative care unit, they do a great job.”
The Christmas village is the culmination of years of collecting.
“Each year it has just grown and I thought it would be good to share it with the community.”
