PROMISING Terang harness driver Jason Lee is leaving his mark on the national circuit, scoring two third placings to ignite his Australian Young Drivers Championship challenge in Perth.

Lee finished third in the first two races of the championship, before notching finishes of fifth, ninth and seventh leading into Monday at the Pinjarra raceway.
He will travel to both Northam and Narrogin before finishing the Australian Young Drivers Championship on the grandest stage of harness racing – the Inter Dominion Grand Final night – at Gloucester Park on Friday.
Gloucester Park put on a fair show and the crowds are unbelievable.

“It’s been good so far. I’ve had some help from people from both Australia and New Zealand but it’s the luck of the draw a little bit,” he said.
“I could have finished a little bit better on Monday (at Pinjarra) but we could have had a bit more luck.
“Gloucester Park put on a fair show and the crowds are unbelievable.”
Lee’s dominance in Victoria has seen him collect the Alabar Concession Young Driver of the Year award for the past three seasons in succession. “I don’t really have any super goals right now, I just want to enjoy the week,” he said.
