With stalls for all ages and plenty of attractions, people gathered to enjoy the sunshine and a bite to eat while being entertained throughout the morning.
This year’s Garden Party, the third organised by community arts group, the F Project, featured a parade starting in the city centre.
The parade included a lantern version of the Fletcher Jones man created by Francis van der Mark and people who participated in his workshops.
F Project president Emma Charlton said the event reflected the Christmas parties Fletcher Jones held for staff and the community.
